Peacemakers at a Time of War Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger is a rabbi, educator, and co-founder of Roots/Shorashim/Judur, a Palestinian-Israeli initiative for understanding, nonviolence, and transformation. Roots is the primary dialogue initiative between West Bank Israeli settlers and their Palestinian Arab neighbors. Rabbi Schlesinger is widely known for his work promoting mutual understanding, coexistence, and grassroots peacebuilding in the region.
