Ways to Give

Giving With Purpose

Jewish values in action—strengthening our community and responding where the need is greatest.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County brings our community together to sustain and strengthen Jewish life locally, in Israel, and around the world. Every act of giving—whether through the Annual Campaign or by supporting a program close to your heart—creates meaningful, lasting impact.

We offer flexible ways to give, from one-time and monthly gifts to tribute, matched, and legacy or endowment support—each reflecting your values and investing in our shared future.

Together, we care for those in need, support essential programs, strengthen community security, and ensure vibrant Jewish life today and into the future.

In addition to the Annual Campaign, donors may also choose to support specific programs and initiatives that are meaningful to them.

Even More Ways To Give

Flexible ways to support the work you care about most.

Gifts of Stock, Real Estate, and Other Appreciated Assets

Donating appreciated securities allows you to receive a charitable deduction for the full market value while avoiding capital gains taxes. This can significantly increase the power of your gift.

Corporate Matching Gifts

The Federation has seen an increase in matching support! If your employer offers a matching gift program, you may be eligible to double – or even triple – the impact of your contribution. Matching gifts amplify your support and strengthen workplace philanthropy. Check here for your company.

Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) Grants

Recommending a gift from your Donor-Advised Fund is an effective and tax-efficient option. Contributions you have already made to your DAF may include appreciated assets, enabling you to avoid capital gains while securing an earlier deduction.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (IRA Giving)

Are you 70 ½ years of age? A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is an efficient way to support the Federation directly from your IRA. A QCD can help reduce your taxable income and satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution.
